Frequently asked questions

How do I add a playlist?

On iPhone and iPad, tap the “+” button on the Home screen and select from three import methods:

  • M3U URL – Enter a playlist URL directly
  • M3U File – Import from your device storage
  • Xtream Codes API – Enter your server credentials

On Apple TV, see the next question.

How do I add a playlist on Apple TV?

Apple TV imports playlists from a URL or an Xtream login:

  1. On the Home screen, select Add Playlist in the Playlists row
  2. Choose the M3U URL or Xtream API tab
  3. Fill in the fields. If an iPhone is nearby, Apple TV can use it as a keyboard
  4. Select Import

The playlist then appears on Home. Select it to browse Live, Movies and Series.

What playlist formats are supported?

Flux IPTV supports the following playlist formats:

  • M3U and M3U8 playlists

My stream is buffering. What can I do?

To reduce buffering, try increasing the network cache:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap Player
  3. Select Network Caching
  4. Choose a higher buffer duration (5, 10, 20, or 30 seconds)

On Apple TV, open Settings and choose Network caching under Player.

Higher values provide smoother playback but may increase initial load time.

Does the app provide TV channels or content?

No. Flux IPTV is a media player application only. We do not provide, host, or distribute any TV channels, movies, series, or other content.

You must obtain your own M3U playlist or Xtream API credentials from a legitimate IPTV service provider.
